Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-30.

These are the terms you agree to when you use EROAD MCP. They are short and written plainly. Using the service means you accept them.

This service is operated by Atac Studio LLC (a United States company), which runs EROAD MCP at eroadmcp.co.nz. You can reach us at support@eroadmcp.co.nz.

What the service is

EROAD MCP is a hosted MCP server that lets an AI assistant read fleet data from an EROAD account. It is unofficial: an independent third-party integration that is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by EROAD Ltd. Access is read-only — nothing in your EROAD account can be created, changed or deleted through us. You supply your own EROAD credentials, in the form of an API key you create in your own MyEROAD account.

Who may use it

You must be authorised to access the EROAD account you connect. If the account belongs to your employer or a client, you need their permission before you connect it. You must also be able to enter a contract in your own name or on behalf of the organisation you represent.

Price, trial and refunds

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, which takes you to Stripe's billing portal. There is no contract and no notice period. When you cancel, your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.

Acceptable use

We may suspend an account that is doing any of these things, and we will tell you why when we do.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we do not offer a service level agreement. The service depends on EROAD's API: if EROAD is down, slow, changes their API, or removes your access, our service is affected too, and that is outside our control. Features may change. If we discontinue the service, we will give you at least 30 days notice by email and refund any period you have paid for but cannot use.

Your data

Your fleet data stays yours. We pass it through and do not store it. What we do hold, and who we share it with, is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. Answers come from EROAD's data by way of an AI assistant, so they can be incomplete or wrong, and you should not rely on them as the only basis for a safety, compliance or legal decision. Check anything that matters in MyEROAD.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost data or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Atac Studio LLC is registered.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always shows when they last changed, and we will email you before a change that materially affects you takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
