Sign in with your email
No password to invent or remember. We email you a 6-digit code.
Paste your EROAD API key
You create the key in MyEROAD. We check it works straight away and store it encrypted.

Paste the server address into your AI app, approve the connection once, and start asking questions.
You need an EROAD account with API access (Premium plan) and a Client Administrator login. Without both, MyEROAD will not let you create the API key this needs. See how to create your API key.

Frequently asked questions
Is this an official EROAD product?
No. EROAD MCP is an independent third-party product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by EROAD Ltd. We connect to EROAD using the API key you generate in your own MyEROAD account.
Is my EROAD API key safe?
Your key is encrypted before it is stored and is never shown again after you paste it. It is only used to read data on your behalf. Every tool we expose is read-only, so nothing in your EROAD account can be changed. You can replace the key at any time from your dashboard, or delete it in MyEROAD to cut access off completely.
Do you store my fleet data?
No. Fleet data is fetched live from EROAD when your AI assistant asks a question, and it is not saved on our servers. We keep only your email address, your encrypted API key and your subscription status.
Which AI apps work with it?
Anything that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP. That includes Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop), ChatGPT with developer mode turned on, Cursor and Claude Code. Setup is the same everywhere: paste one URL and approve the connection.
What do I need before I sign up?
An EROAD account on a plan that includes API access (EROAD's Premium plan), and permission to create an API key in MyEROAD. If you are not sure, ask whoever administers your MyEROAD account.
What data is not available?
Trip history, road user charges (RUC), fuel data and vehicle inspections are not available, because EROAD's public API does not expose them. We would rather say so up front than have you find out after paying. If you need one of these, tell us: use the feedback form, or simply ask your AI assistant to send feedback to the developer.
How much does it cost?
NZ$29 per month, with a 3-day free trial. A card is required to start the trial, and nothing is charged until the trial ends.
How do I cancel?
From your dashboard, open Manage billing. That takes you to Stripe, where you can cancel in one click. There is no contract and no notice period. Your access keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. We refund your first charge if you ask within 14 days of it being taken — email support@eroadmcp.co.nz and we will process it. After that, you can cancel at any time and you will not be charged again.
Do you support EROAD accounts in the United States or Canada?
Not yet. Today we connect to EROAD's APAC region, which covers New Zealand and Australia. North American support is planned — email us if you want it and we will tell you when it is ready.
